Este trabajo repasa y analiza los orígenes de la relación entre literatura y la producción cinematográfica en torno al concepto de film noir desde una perspectiva global enfatizando unas categorías socio-transculturales y filosóficas para centrarse en el caso español y chino. This article focuses on Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (David Lynch,1992), the prequel to the TV series produced by Mark Frost and David Lynch (1990-1991), which represents a turning point in Lynch's filmography. The author argues that the film's aesthetics frustrate viewer expectations, and especially the fan of the TV series, by addressing the issue of the film's relation to the TV series. Special attention is payed to the aesthetics of time passing and to the accumulation of unusual signs in the first part of the film, with reference to Deleuze and Michel Guiomar, and the way they lead the spectator, fan or neophyte, to expect something Fantastic to happen. Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Film noir un neo noir komunicētā vēstījuma izmaiņas”. Pētījuma mērķis ir uzzināt, kādus vēstījumus nodeva film noir žanra filmas žanra „ziedu laikos” un kādus vēstījumus nodod jaunākas neo noir žanra filmas. Pētījuma teorētisko daļu veido apskats par kino valodu, tās nozīmi un ietekmi, kino valodas elementiem, kā arī film noir teorija, kurā apskatītas film noir iezīmes un stilistika, amerikāņu film noir un neo noir. Tāpat teorijā aprakstīta semiotika un naratīvs. Pētījums veikts, balstoties kvalitatīvās pētījuma metodēs - semiotiskajā analīzē (tiek apskatīti filmu vizuālie elementi) un naratīva analīzē (tiek apskatīta naratīva attīstība, tematika, centrālie notikumi…
